Keeping Safe Cards

Scenario cards for teaching protective behaviours

Keeping Safe Cards are a useful tool for early childhood professionals and parents to teach children about keeping themselves safe. The set includes 10 laminated A4 cards which uses the ‘one step removed’ approach and encourages children to work out for themselves how to stay safe. A range of common risks for young children is included in the various scenarios, such as stranger danger, wearing bike helmets and seat belts.
